The Mega Blood Donation Drive: World’s Biggest Campaign was held on 17th September 2025 under the auspices of the Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, Tezpur, in collaboration with the District Administration, Sonitpur, and with the endorsement of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and the Government of Assam, with officers of 21st Century Open University, and Global Interfaith University present..

This unprecedented initiative transcended the bounds of a global health campaign by cultivating interfaith harmony and constructive civic dialogue, uniting people across diverse communities in a shared humanitarian endeavor.

Mr. Vandan Jain, Global Interfaith Ambassador (India) of the Global Interfaith University, USA, and fellowship scholar at the 21st Century Open University, USA, provided pivotal leadership that ensured seamless execution.


Dr. Samikshya Madhukullya, Senior Faculty Member and Advisor of the Global Interfaith University, USA,  Director for Scholarship Board and Lead Faculty at the 21st Century Open University, USA, was distinguished for achieving the highest collection of blood units in the Tezpur Zone.

Dr. Anurag Hazarika, Associate Professor, Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs at the 21st Century Open University, USA, and Senior Faculty Member of the Global Interfaith University, USA, was commended for his instrumental role in outreach, awareness, and community engagement.


The recognition of these leading  personalities brought honor to their respective institutions and underscored the enduring nexus between academic leadership, social service, and humanitarian commitment.
