Fotabe University of Cameroon (FUNIC) was established in 2015 by Dr. Fotabe Elmine and received its official authorization a few months later in 2016. In a strategic move to better serve its growing student body, FUNIC relocated its campus from Buea to Douala in 2018.
FUNIC Cameroon provides a comprehensive and transformative education that prepares students to become competent, ethical, and socially responsible leaders in their communities and beyond.
The partnership between 21stCOU and FUNIC seeks to achieve the following objectives:
1. Research Collaboration: Joint research projects and publications to advance knowledge in various fields.
2. Faculty Exchange: Exchange of faculty members for teaching, research, and professional development.
3. Student Exchange: Exchange of students for study abroad programs, promoting cross-cultural understanding and exposure.
4. Student Recruitment: Collaborative efforts to recruit students for on-site programs at Fotabe University Cameroon.

Internationalization: Providing opportunities for students from 21st Century Open University to experience international exposure across African cultures and at Cameroon precisely, as well students from Fotabe University to experience same across nations we are fully represented includes the United States.
