Call for Papers: Hybrid International Conference on Peacebuilding, Governance and Sustainable Development in Africa

Conference Background & Theme

Africa’s pursuit of sustainable development is closely linked to the quality of peacebuilding and governance across the continent. Although Africa continues to make progress in democratic participation, regional cooperation, economic innovation, and community resilience, many societies still face violent conflict, political instability, weak institutions, inequality, youth unemployment, forced migration, environmental stress, violent extremism, and resource-based disputes.

This conference provides a timely platform to examine how peacebuilding, responsive governance, justice, inclusion, human security, and sustainable development can be strengthened across African societies.

Submission Guidelines

Each paper submission must include the following elements:

• Title of paper
• Name(s) of author(s)
• Institutional affiliation
• Email address
• Selected sub-theme
• An abstract of 200–250 words outlining the research problem, objective, methodology, key findings, and relevance to the conference theme
• Five keywords
• A brief author biography of not more than 50 words
